The weather is getting cooler now. Okay, so maybe 70 plus degrees isn't THAT much cooler, but here in Arizona it is.
So the other day I was in Trader Joe's... oh my son Jason & Lauren ( basically my 'daughter-in-law') work at TJ's . Jas has been there for over 10 years and is working on becoming a Fire Fighter. My son Jeremy works at Starbucks (over 8 years now) and is working on becoming an American Sign Language Interpreter. I have it made ;)
Anyway, I was picking up some groceries and spotted a box of Sweet Potato Bisque. I've seen it many times before, but never bought any. Let me tell you, this is to die for!
We had the bisque a couple nights with our meal and at one point Mark asked if we should just get a straw. I actually thought about it, but wanted to savor each and every spoonful.
If you want a yummy bisque to have with you meal or just by itself with maybe a little cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg, I highly recommend this one. Plus, I can have it because it is wheat/dairy free!
Oh, I'm sure they sell straws there too.
Enjoy!

Hah! I like Mark's comment!! We're not much on soup (I think D would revolt - the meat & potatoes guy that he is) but it does sound scrumptious with that cream and nutmeg, mmmmmm!
Yummy Rocki!! My BFF has Celiac Disease and has to get everything gluten free - so she shops at TJ all the time. I'll have to ask her to get some! It sounds wonderful :o)
Have a great weekend Rocki!! ♥
Ha ha! That is such a guy thing to say :) We just got a new TJ in Bend and it is wonderful. It's an hour away unfortunately, but I get there when I can.
Have a great weekend, Rocki!
Jo :)
Oh gosh, I just saw this in a magazine the other day, I guess Campbell's soup has one now too... I've GOT to try it, you've convinced me... Yumm!!!!
♥
Now this sounds different..I won't kid you, I wouldn't have thought to buy something like this..will try it now..something really different.
Have a great weekend.
It looks so good! Campbell's does have a butternut squash soup. I would never have tried it, but when I was in Japan, it was a first course for a dinner we had there. It was great! My geeky boyfriend would love that sweet potato thing!
MMMMMMM. Sweet potatoe bisque! YUM! Sounds like I might have to learn to make it so you can Mark can come over for a chilly Arizona (hahahaha...chilly....Arizona...) dinner! HHmmm...maybe we can even play a game of Wii. I've been working on my bowling, Sis. Bwa HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Oh I would revolt. But I think I have become more of a pasta and meat guy. Never been much of a soup guy. But glad you all enjoy it.
