I'm constantly trying to improve on photo taking of my metalwork - not my most favorite task as I'm no photographer by any means. Even though I've come a LONG way since the beginning, I really want my photos to pop!
Well, luck be a lady as hubby found an eight week class at our local recreation center. Because my spare time during the day is very limited, due to my full studio schedule, this beneficial class fits right in as it is only 1 night per week. Perfect! Only requirement is you must be 16 years of age (um, I just squeaked by that one), bring your own camera and owner's manual. They'll be covering the basic camera functions, lighting techniques in various situations, color balance and much more. I registered for it and can hardly wait!

Awesome and good luck! This has been a challenge for me too. Though I must say once I learned how my digital point in shoot works in manual mode, I have seen a big improvement!
I hope it's a great experience for you! We just bought a new camera yesterday...I have no clue on how to use it so I need to head to a class as well :)
Thank you both! Walter, I hear you loud and clear.
Mellisa, a lot of trial by fire for me, so play around with it all you can until/if you take a little class.
