Thar's gold in them hills

Gold Rush - Wild West Series

I was going to blog about a funny/scary little thing that happened to me the other day, but I'll save that for next one as I need to get into the studio.

As you can see, I've been on a gold streak. I've added several more 14k Gold Filled findings to my shop - and there is more to come soon!

Small Organic Wrapped Hook & Eye Clasp

Wire Wrapped Twisted Bail

I'm now making wire wrapped bails. I have more designs on paper and in my head, but there is only so much time in a day and I'm STILL searching Etsy for a shop that sells TIME!

That's it. Just a short & sweet ... okay, shameless little plug, what can I say?

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Do the Hula-Hoop!

Do you remember the hula-hoop? Yes, I know they still have them today, but when I was growing up the Hula-Hoop, along with the Pogo-Stick , were like the Nintendo's of today. THIS was hot entertainment let me tell you! Getting past 100 was pretty cool or jumping as high as my Dad's head (he's short) was the best! And when we were called in for dinner, we didn't have to say "Wait mom! I have to save first!"

Speaking of hoops.

I've been making new findings and thought I would share the ones I've added to my Etsy Shop.
Above are my Big Egg Hoops. Big is hot right now, oval is a nice shape and hoops are always in style. What else could I do but name them as I did?

Big Retro French Hoops

My signature Retro French ear wires ate their Wheaties. These Big Retro French Hoops are very stylish. They still have my Retro French shape, but you get a nice hoop as well - but not too big of one.

Speaking of my Retro French ear wires, here they are now in a nice hand brushed Antiqued Finish. These are also available in Bright & Dark Polished finishes.

Thanks for letting me share. Oh, wait - one more item. I decided that starting next week, I will include "Wacky Wednesday" to my blog. We all need a little silliness in our lives, so I'll be doing just that each and every Wednesday.

Happy Hump Day!

Ahooooooooh?

Did you ever watch the TV show "Home Improvement" with Tim Allen? Ahoooooooh? I actually liked Al the best. Anyway, remember how terribly excited he would get over new tools? He would get this look of a mad man, a happy mad man, and make that funny sound that for the life of me I can't think how to spell it out right now, but it went something like "ooooh ooooh ooooh".

Well, I'm Tim at this moment - right down to the ooooh ooooh ooooh! It's bye-bye Dremel, helloooooooo Foredom Flex Shaft!! Yep. I'm a big girl now!

For those of you who are not familiar with a flex shaft, it is... well, like a Dremel on steroids! Basically it is a must have tool/machine for metalsmiths/jewelers (and other skills) that makes you more productive, proficient and... oooh oooh oooh, a big girl!

So today I'm giving Mark back his Dremel, rearranging my studio and setting up my new toy! You know where I'll be all day. Gosh, I'm just so darn happy that I could drill... or file... or buff... or sand... or...

Happy day everyone!
